Since starting his career at the Wall Street law firm Milbank Tweed, Mr. Chase has focused his practice on representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial disputes. Complex matters involve multiple parties, lengthy agreements, voluminous and complicated document/record discovery, complex statutes, and many witnesses. Mr. Chase particularly enjoys the challenge of litigating complex disputes at trial, where it is critical to present complicated matters in a manner that is clear, concise, and compelling.
“The most important skill for a commercial litigator is the ability to present complicated events and transactions in a manner that is readily understandable. You must educate the judge or jury about your case so that what first appears complicated then becomes simple.”
~ Thomas Chase
